Canyon County is in Southwest Idaho, immediately adjacent to the Oregon border, and just west of Boise's Ada County. It is part of the beautiful Treasure Valley, Idaho's largest population center, but also home to plenty of open space and rural living.

Canyon County includes Idaho's second most populous city of Nampa, where you will find a vibrant city center along with newer suburban bedroom communities. Other nearby cities in Canyon County include Caldwell, Middleton, and Melba.
Canyon County contains over 600 square miles of prime farmland in southwest Idaho. The County is bordered by Payette and Gem Counties on the north, Ada County on the east, Owyhee County to the south, and Malheur County, Oregon to the west. The Census Bureau estimated its population at nearly 180,000 in 2007.
